A native of Hilo, Hawaii, Brittni Paiva learned to play the ukulele at age 11, after she had already been playing classical piano for seven long years. She says that it was “love at first touch” and since then, she’s never looked back.
Brittni has released six albums, and she enjoys using the ukulele in interesting settings while making people happy. She plays at festivals and other events, and she has one of the most popular ukulele-based channels on YouTube.
Brittni has won several musical awards over the years, including Ukulele Album of the Year and Instrumental Composition of the Year at the 2013 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards.
